yes and no...
yes it will plug in, however the pioneer AE system, will be different and have the built in eq set for a radically different interior.
If possible, swap your existing (if equipped) T2 Pioneer AE controller in place of the 'vert's one.

Even better, just buy a new CD player. You'll be very disappointed with the performance of a 15yo CD player, particularly how often it skips. Entry-level namebrand CD/tuners are very cheap.
