Question 87 TII squeals when clutch is pressed

If the car is idling and i push the clutch the car will squeal then die unless you let go of the clutch. Once you get the car going( i have to rev it up and then give it clutch) when you shift it squeals each time. But it wont squeal above 2500 rpm. Im thinking that the engine is turning fast enough to overcome the resistance at those rpms but i dont know. Does this sound like the slave cylinder not disengaging the clutch fully?
I did a search and found a thread about an fd(sorry i forgot the guys name....replacement something i think) but i dont know if the problem it had would be the same on my fc. His crank pulley bolt was almost out. Anybody else had this problem on there fc? Any help would be appreciated.

To me ot sounds like the pilot bearing is smoked, possibly the input shaft of the transmission too. Is it difficult to shift into gears as well?

it is the throw-out bearing, mine did the same thing, when you press the clutch the throw-out bearing is slid down the transmission input shaft against the pressure plate (which is connected to the engine) to disengage the clutch, if the pressure plate is spinning then whatever touches it should be spinning as well or it will create friction which will be like pressing the brakes on your engine. basically the bearing must have one part held by the clutch fork which doesn't spin and the other ready to press against a spinning pressure plate...the spinning part of the bearing is somehow rubbing against the non-spinning part causing the friction.
