87 TII Injector question

87 TII Injector question
I sold a forum member (2) 550cc injectors from a 87 TII. The tops are a tan color. He claims that they are not from a TII. He says that the 87 TII injectors are purple tops? Is this correct? Please correct him, as I know that the car I pulled them from was completely stock, never taken apart or abused.

The part number is embossed on the side of the injectors. The 195500-xxxx number.

first of there were never any purple top 89-1991 turbo fuel injectors
there are only dark red and light red in 1989-1991 the light shade red being n/a the dark red turbo
and the 1988 turbo cars are offset square dark red.and light red for n/a
1986-1987 were center square plugins and the turbo were purple and the n/a were light red that year.
i have been working with rx7s for 10 years i know which are which.
i will prove this from the part number on the injectors you sent me when i call the dealer to get it on a print out.

ok maybe the ones you sent me are turbo im checking on it tommorow for sure.but i do know this
i have some 1988 injectors in front of me right now offset plugins they are not purple they are dark red and light red .the part number on the dark red one is 195500-1370
the light color red one is 195500-1350
and i also have a set of turbo injectors from a 1991 turbo car and they are dark red not purple.
so either im color blind or something,but thats what i have right here in front of me.but i do agree that the tan ones you sent me do have the same number as the turbo 88 injectors i have ending in 1370 so i think me are good.i just really thought the turbo injectors 1986-1987 were purple tops.oh well..

Yes they are the same part number, but one is high impedance and the other is low impedance.
