take the charge pipe off the turbo and see if the turbo is shooting oil into the intake. turbo may need a rebuild.....
maybe the oil feed line is leaking from the turbo and you see oil on the ex manifold.
Or the oil control seals didnt seat right and oil is getting by and into the exhaust ports....u need to check it out and find out

If the turbo was fine before the rebuild, and now you've got enough oil that it's soaking the hotside, it's almost certainly the control rings. It's very common to roll/cut/pinch them during install, especially if you use the aftermarket ones.
ok. the oil is getting in the hot side.. from the exhaust.. so I'm thinking its GOT to be control rings.. but i just did them .. so now i guess its time to do them again.. any ideas on easy fast rebuilds? lol.. the motors not even broken in
i rebuilt it.. motor had 80,000 and ran on 1 rotor .. so i took two housings from a n/a 89 gxl i have.. and the high comp. rotors and built it .. now i guess i put the oil control rings in wrong or something... its taking allot of time to get this car running right
The control rings can be quite a pain, especially if for some reason the springs aren't aligned properly (so as to prevent rotation), or even during install as they like to pinch/get cut. It's really kind of hard the first time around, usually you can very closely inspect them after they're installed to see if you notice any tears or minor cuts.
