87 rx7 engine into a 86 rx7?

87 rx7 engine into a 86 rx7?
im new to the rx7's i have no knowledge what so ever could someone tell me if the 13b injection engine out of a 1987 rx7 will go into a 1986 rx7 with a 13b injection engine? would i need anykind of parts for the 87 engine to gointo my 86?other than the engine itself?

Both are s4 engines. You should be good to go. Changes would only be necessary if one is coming from an automatic into a manual and vice versa. You may want to check the FAQ at the top of this section being a newb.
