87 Radiator...gulps

Hi Guys......this is my first post to this group and hoping to get some recommendations as to where we can find a supply for a Radiator for my sons RX7 non turbo. My son and I just bought the car to learn a little, do a little bonding.........YA RIGHT.......the car is never home.....anyway......

We are in Manitoba Canada and took the car into the local dealer and was informed the rad was rotted and it was going to be $1000 for the repair........ I just about hit the floor.

Do any of you know where I might find a good source that could supply a rad for us....... used or new would be okay.........as long as it is in reason...

Thanks
Tim.

you can go to mazdatrix.com they have basically everything for the rx-7. or you can get one at autozone if they have one there for $200.

yeah, dealers will rip you off hardcore.. I bought a remanufacturer radiator for my fiancee's '94 Mercury Sable for like seventy bucks. Shouldn't be a whole lot more than that, I'd say around $100 maybe a little more. But I must say, if doing the radiator change is anything like doing it on her Sable, then God bless you, because you're going to have to twist your body in ways that you never thought possible.. hopefully you'll be ok though.

Thanks so much guys...... I am still hoping on finding a canadian source so that I dont have to pay the almighty exchange and duty to bring the part up......but even at $136US.......it is still one big pile less than the $1000 quoted. If anyone knows of a canadian source let me know okay?
Tim.
