87 non-turbo just wont start!?

I have an 87 rx7 that has been sitting around for awhile and I try and try to start it but it just turns over. I had it going for a little bit but after about 5 seconds it died and now it doesnt even feel like it is trying that hard. I have another car jumping it and I have tried the unflood steps but it wont start. Is there anything else I can try to help it along?

replace your spark plugs, they could just not be firing.

How long has it been sitting? Maybe you need a fresh tank of gas.

What about removing the bottom two plugs since its an S4, and turning the engine over 2wice for a few seconds, stick some new plugs in, make sure you get TWO trailing and TWO leading and you put them in the right places, then try to start her up.
