87 n/a idle high?

my 87 n/a idles around 1500 rpm. The idle screw is all the way in so its as low as it can idle and the variable resistor is all the way down. Why am I idling high. (car is warmed up and driven around for 10 minutes)

thermowax

just replace the throttle body, its the quickest and easiest

or pull the throttlebody out and disable it

you really shouldnt of messed with the variable resistor.... if thers glue on it, its good... if you took it off, you fucked up
