One quick question for those LSD experts out there. My brother found an 86 or 87 GXL in one of our local junk yards, and the rear end is still intact. I'd like to put the LSD in my 88 SE, and from what I searched for I know the whole differental will just bolt right in.

My question is about the price though. What would be a good price for something like this? I want to go offer the guy a pretty accurate amount for it, or just make sure he isn't ripping me off when he names a price. Thanks!

 

Used LSD's typically sell for between $75 and $250 depending on condition and type. I wouldn't pay more than $125 for a non turbo LSD rear end.

 

just buy the tires and steal the rear end when hes not looking.... na im playing, do it if hes an ******* about it though lol!!!!!
