Question 87 base model stock cat-back question

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum, as well as the whole rx-7 world. Two weeks ago I bought an 87 base model rx-7. It needed quite a bit of work, including a new cat-back. I decided to go with parts from drivewire.com (not performance parts, I think they are stock...) I already have ordered all of the parts themselves, but upon taking off my old intermediate pipe and mufflers, there was so much rust that I couldn't tell if there is a gasket inbetween the mufflers and the intermediate pipe, like there is between the Y pipe and the cat-converter. I thought that if there was no gasket inbetween the mufflers and intermediate pipe that would be kind of weird, but who knows... actually, that is my question... does anybody know if there is indeed a gasket there? and if so, where can i order one (two) online? thanks! Oh, and IM me at "newguy2006" if you want to know more about my car and what I've done to it so far (spent about 15 hours on it so far, and many more hours to come)

well... I don't know for sure but I would assume so. You could probably pick one up from a local exhaust place.
