'86 sport suspension on a '90 GTU?
Hello all,
My GTU is on stock suspension and has mad wheel gap. I assume this is because all s5's came with the same suspension, so the same springs that held up the 3000+ lb. TII are causing the lighter GTU to sit higher (plus I've removed about 100lbs). I'd like to get some coilovers eventually, but I'm not ready yet. In the interim, would the stock springs/shocks I have from my old sport make the car look better? The sport was only ~2600lbs. and I don't recall it sitting so high.
Thoughts?
