i just purchased my new s5 rx and it seems like the s4 was faster than my new s5, the s4 had 160,000 miles k&n and a short throw, and no cat. my s5 has 115,000 a header and exhaust back to the muflers, and k&n. i have wondered if it is just the driver or is there something wrong with it, also, there is a small problem yet i don't know if this is making is slow? underneath the passenger part of the dash it drips water or whatever and smells like ***, i was driving like 10 miles and when i stoped, i noticed a nasty soaked puddle in my passenger floor mat. im about to throw a fit. a little help or info would be greatly appriciated.

Sounds like your heater hose is leaking, or heater core.

 

yea, pull the dash (its easy check the archives theres a SWEET writeup)

punch that heater core in the face and check the hoses

 

make sure your 5th and 6th ports are still working

also i was wondering on how to get my antenna to get its *** down in the hole and stay down, i hate it, and i dont want to just jam it in .......i dont know about taking my dash out, are there any other ways of fixing the heater core.

The S4 weighed (depending on model) 100-200 lbs less than a 90 GXL, with the 90 only having marginally more power, so yes the S4 could have been faster.
