ok i own a 86 gxl and last week i had to take the upper intake mani off to change my pd due to leaking...after this...i had a really rough idle my idle screw is turned all the way up and it still sits at a 500 rpm idle...i checked my tps and i made a light one light is on...so im thinking that that is fine...all my vacuums are checked and good...with a propane torch...all my grounds have been redone including ecu... cleaned and applied electric grease...it warms up ok doesnt stall but once i start out and if i stop at a stoplight or stop sign it will stall...(if it wont hold the 500 rpm idle) i dont know what else to check...? when i downshift and let the car slow down it also bucks alot...i changed my sparkplugs and wires new NGK wires and plugs they are all good and everything is in place....this all started happening after i removed the UIM anyone with this problem please help

 

Sounds like a leak at the manifold. What shape was the mani gasket in, did you replace it?
