hey guys,on my 86 non turbo mazda auto i just replaced the computer out of an 88 mazda 5 speed there the same part number but are they compatable?and right now it takes forever to start the dam thing so when it does start u have to play with the throttle,like pump the hike out of it then it revs like crap lmk asap

ECU (engine computers) are the same regardless what transmission.

Auto tranny cars have a seperate dedicated auto tranny computer that controls just the transmisson.
