was it a factory option for an 86 gxl to have the wraparound spoiler?

 

It was a dealer option to have the flat rubberized Sport style rear spoiler, but the wrap around rear spoiler didn't become an option until 88, and standard in 89.

 

i didn't think it was factory, it is not the rubber one(i believe, cause its painted the rubbers don't take paint well do they?), it is plastic or whatever that is like the one on later cars, like the porsche spoiler. anyways thanks, i am going to go tell this guy he is a moron now. he tried to convince me that his was like a gxl 2 or some **** that had different options than my gxl from the same year, i guess it doesn't matter cause i would smack him in a race anyway

 

Turbo II spoilers sure do look sweet though on a GXL, who was this "moron". Smack him in a race and post it for us.
