86 gxl acceleration problem!!
as the title says, i have an 86 gxl. The motor is fully rebuilt and streetported. it has a stock s5 turbo on it, secondary throttle plates removed, Walbro 255LPH fuel pump, OEM 550cc primaries (freshly cleaned), GSL-SE 680cc secondaries (flow cleaned), AEM fully adjustable FPR w Jegs fuel pressure gauge, Paralellel -6AN SS lines from filter to return tube, and a NEW fuel filter.
for some reason, from a dead stop. even at full throttle, it takes a second or two before the car actually starts to accelerate. when i let off of the clutch and accelerate, the car doesnt stall, just sputters for a few seconds, then evens out right bfore i start building boost (3000 rpm). also if im just cruising and decide to step on it, it seems a little sputtery as well untill im in boost.
im a new rotary owner so im open to any opinions! thanks.
