Question 86-91 Exhausts

Hey wat up ppl. Listen, I just sighned up to this websight due to the fact that i am now a proud owner of an 88 gxl non turbo AND I MUST SAY I LOVE THE CAR

Anyways i need some advice from all you Rx7 Geniuses. Im going to order an exahust for my car. I've narrowed it down to Apexi and im torn between the N1 dual and the Apexi Gt series single. See the truth is i love the dual exaust config. But im wondering how much better the larger diameter single Apexi GT will perform. I just need some advice here guys PLEASE HELP! -THANKS

If you want Single i'd go with Corksport... But i would go with the Dual if i were you! dual gives them a little bit of a distinct look.. Going to a single Fart Cannon makes you just like Honda's and other Ricers

i would go with the gt spec...because it is lighter then the n1s and it gives it a bad a$$ look...on the other hind the n1s sound tight too and they give it the dual look thats also cool...rx-7s are the **** uhhh?

I like the dual exhaust also. I would go with the Apexi N1.

I'm a cheapskate, so I went with a custom dual that starts with the RB dual header through some lame presilencers, and ends with 2 bombs with the original Mazda tips. Total cost was under $300. It's a little loud at WOT, but quiet enough when crusing (perfect for me).
Here is one bonus - any problems (bad plug etc) you can tell which rotor.

By the way, if your cats dont make it into your new pipes, you should keep them in case you change your mind later. Most standard replacement cats won't stand up to an N/A rotary.

I suggest getting a Kakimoto Racing N1 Exhaust.
It is made out of better quality then a Apexi N1 (Stainless steel inside and out) And looks wise its alot better and quality in workmanship is better.

Check it out at: http://www.kakimotoracing.com
If you are interested in any exhaust from kakimoto my friends shop in Vancouver is the only North American Distributor of the exhaust. Contact me back at Orbitzzz@hotmail.com if interested.

Oh yeah for a single FC exhaust is around 600 Canadian.
