Finally got the convertible back on her feet(still wobbly lots of problems) so i put her under a cover until i had money well the brand new water proof cover wasnt all the water proof so the inside was soaked. When i started the car instead of the rpm gauge telling me it was idling at 2 tho it said it was at 8 tho which was wrong is it an easy fix or do i have to take the dash out.p.s. dont wanna take the dash out at allllllllllllll.

 

Probably shouldn't be idling at 2k either y'know... could possibly be a problem with one of your coils. I don't know much about the meter though.

 

8000 rpm idle? ...should make your launches a lot easier
