7k buzzer won't go off

I haven't taken my car to 7k(redline) in a while. Everything was fine a night ago I try to start my car this morning when I do after it starts up give it a sec or two and this buzzer won't go off. I believe its the 7k buzzer. But if I remember right it never worked when I have taken my car up that high. Its been snowy and haven't had the weather to go to 7k in a long time. Well anyways the buzzer is loud. How can I fix?

does your add coolant light come on? If it's a constant buzzer, that's generally the culprit. Check your fluid levels.

Couldn't tell you the piece up there is taken out right now. Was going to try and fix it so my gas light would work and its been so cold haven't gotten around to work on it or put it back. I will check that tomorrow. Thank you very much.

the only time the buzzing noise comes on is when the car is turned on

Low coolant, low oil level, or over-rev are the only way the buzzer triggers

Usually if it comes on during a left hand turn, its your oil sensor.

Does it come on instantly after you turn the key to the on position, or does it take like 10 seconds?

Chances are it's the coolant buzzer, check for leaks/fill it up!

haha... i hate that thing (love hate relationship). Scares the **** out of me all the time, but its a good thing its their. Check your oil/coolant. It mightbe such a thing that the oil or coolant is low or the sensor is broken and the lightbump inthe idiot cluster doesn't work...

I checked the oil/coolant both are fine. Whats next? Can I still drive my car with the noise? I don't want to but I really don't have a choice tomorrow.

Where is the Oil Level Sensor located?

My buzzer goes off all the time also, and my fluid levels are fine.

If I wanted to bypass the sensors (for trouble shooting) should hooking them to ground make the buzzer go off?

Thanks guys,

Where is the sensor located? Was it a huge pain to fix?

I just got to school. Now it will go off for like 10-30 secs while I'm driving and then it will come right back on. My fluid levels are fine so is it that the buzzer unit crapped out on me and will just stay on forever now? Can I just clip a wire to end it? Wheres the wire and how do I do it?

Thanks

Is there any way of finding out what wire it is before doing some cutting? I'm leaking oil from the oil pan so if its there I can juse change it then I guess but that would be a pain in my @@@
