Unhappy 7 clicks but won't start!

Just to start off, I searched and tried a few things already with no luck at all.
ok, so this is kind of a long story so bear with me, and there will be cliffs at the end. Car is an 87 T2, and it has extensive wiring modifications, so it's hard to know where to start. Basically I took the stock harness out, stripped out any connectors and their respective wires that were not being used for anything and rewrapped the harness. This was done at the same time as an installation of a haltech e6k, which is fully hooked up now along with most of the rest of the car's electronic systems. Basically whats out right now are just the gauge cluster/surround and the radio which hopefully isn't affecting the starter. However I was researching other people's threads and saw that the starter runs through the antenna somehow, so that might have something to do with it since I just put in a relay to make the factory antenna work with an aftermarket head unit. I think that's everything...

Basically, the car makes a clicking sound when I try to start it but it will not crank.

I tried starting it with another car jumpered to mine in case the battery was low, no change.
I tried jumpering the two b/g wires together under the trailing coil as per HAILERS' advice and that didn't work either.
The starter is practically brand new with only about 1000 miles on it so there's no way that's broken.
Is it possible that my re-wiring of the antenna is causing this? maybe the relay is broken? or does the antenna have nothing to do with this? btw the antenna still doesn't work but that could just be a bad motor or something, who knows...

please help! If I can't get this thing running soon I'm going to have to sell it!

The S4 starting circuit (yours) does not involve the antenna fuse. Find the B/W wire that runs from the Starter Cut Relay to the starter solenoid and w/the car not in gear jumper a wire from the positive battery terminal to the B/W as it leaves the relay and the starter should turn over w/no problem. If it doesn't then the B/W wire is not connected properly to the solenoid or an intermediate connector between the starter and relay is poor. If the starter turns over properly then the problem is before the B/W wire.

alright, well I figured out why it wouldn't start. I thought the clutch switch was the clutch interlock switch. So when I went to go look for the interlock switch I noticed I didn't have one, HOWEVER I did have the plug for one. So I jumpered those two wires together and I was good to go. Thanks guys.

The car cranks fine now, it just won't start, and that could be a lot of things... oh well at least some progress was made...
