62-1 ball bearing or MP T70?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok i have the chance at two turbos.. A turbonetics 62-1 ballbearing and a master power T70. Which turbo is better? Meaning flow characteristics, spool time, just over-all performance. It will have a 1.15 rear housing.

I have a 60-1 57trim that did 400hp@17psi on a streetport. I now have a half bridge and same turbo. So what do u guys think?

T70 or 62-1 ball bearing..

not the SS autochrome's that used master power covers

well the 62-1 is going to spool quicker probably due to it being ball bearing but as far as the potential hp out of them the t70 is going to produce way more horse power! Lots of people are running the masterpower turbos and are doing just fine so there is no problem quality wise with them. bdc is using the t70 on one of his cars now, a few others as well. I just picked up the mp t61 and was told by bobybeach who is a mp turbo dealer on this forum that it is a mean **** and will through you back in your seat while producing anywhere from 450-475hp at around 20psi. So with that kind of power on a t61 just emagine the power a t70 can offer. You will need to run either race gas with it or some sort of alchohol injection or you won't be able to see the higher boost without blowing something up.
