6 port mod

so, ive seen the pineapple racing sleeve inserts for sale, and wondered to myself, "why cant i make those on my own?"
i figured, for $50, i can save a bunch if i just make my own for next to nothing.
now, its not that im cheap, but i just dont spend that much on my NA as i do on my TII.

now, my plan is simple. just use the jb stick weld stuff, (which when is wet, can get smoothed down really well) and fill the ends just like the pineapple sleeves do, but for $4 instead of $50.
so, has anyone ever done this before? im going to do it, and hopefully someone can show me how to post pics on here when im finished.

i dont see any down side to it yet, and maybe someone can point some out, but like i said, it doesnt seem like it would be that difficult, and if it saves me $45 then its well worth it.

Its been done before using "putty" type material such as Devcon. I believe the Rotary Avation video suggests this mod for better air flow.

Devcon is what everybody uses and it has a temp range up to 250. Apparently that is good enough. I see lots of similar products with temp limits of 200, that I am sure isnt enough. I think the JB Weld stick is 250, just make sure and it should work no problem.

In reality though, I think this is probably not anything that will really gain you any power. At least its cheap so not throwing lots of money at it.

yeah, i figured that it wouldnt make much of a difference, but pineapple claims up to 8hp, which is a lot in my opinion. i just figured if it was something i did myself, it would save me that much money.
