6 port junk again

ok i just got 2 good actuators for the 5th and 6th ports. i have them hooked up through the air pump. (i have an s4) i tapped into the acv releive hose. anywyas what is the best rpm for the ports to open? i can control the amount of back pressure using a hose clamp on the end of the air pump exhaust hose. so pretty much i can kinda control at what rpm the ports will open. also with these hooked up i don't feel as though my car pulls as hard. i had them wired open for a while and thought the power was pretty good. with the ports working now it doesn't seem quit as peppy? maybe because they arn't opening at the correct time. also how much psi does the air pump put out? has anyone ever ghetto rigged the air pump as a make shift kinda turbo.. just rambling guys but input on the 5 and 6th port timing would be greatly apreaciated? should i just wire them open again? what yel=ilds the best power. primarily top end i like the feeling of having it pull hard to red line. thanks guys

Shouldn't you tap into the hose coming off the air pump? If you tapped into the ACV relief hose, I'm not sure it would get proper functionality... With the air pump, can you watch the ports open as you flip the throttle? It should now be purely RPM dependent, not backpressure.

no because i have only tapped into the acv releif line there has to be back pressure to push enough psi of air into the tube that goes to the ports. and yes i can watch them open while hittin gthe throttle. but i wan tto know the at which rpm would yeild the best power.

i used a summit switch to set the 6-ports to 5k on my old gtu and that seemed to make her a bit snappier with the cone filter on the intake.. it was an s5, however.
