Now, on a 6port, holley carb conversion with a rb manifold, will it retain the attributes of the 5 n 6 port or is it considered always open or whatever..?

my car is uber ghetto rigged up so i dont know if my ports work (stock LIM with welded flanges to make work with holley.... idk.. exhaust is sotck mani, down pipe (looks rb may be just cruddy one presilencer claimed to be rb and looks like it, and minekie pipe + ebay mufflers....

i dont know what im really trying to ask but if someone understands me help me out? lol

wondering how the 5n6port work with carbs... or they dont work at all? blokced off? or just always working? ya know?
