little info i wanna share for future engine rebuilders

well im been rebuilding my turbo engine latelly using the best parts for it, anyways i put a FD pump instead of a FC turbo one, thinking it would be the same , plus the FD pump is cheaper. well i found out myself after i ask alot of people , even mazdatrix, that the FD pump dont work on turbo II or any older motor other that the FD motors. when i started the motor today i didnt have any oil pressure at all, because the pump wasnt pumping any oil at all. so i had to take the internals of the FD pump and put them on the turbo II one and it work great now. just letting people know about this, yes FD oil pump is cheaper but doesnt work with any other engine unless you use a turbo II oil pump case

is the same thing, same gears and everything. the casing is almost the same ex it have a opening on the bottom that the turbo II iron doesnt cover. that why i didnt have no oil pressure at all. but other than that is the same pump just sharing this for somebody that makes the same mistake just trying to save money.

and i have pressure after i did this
