6-port to 4-port

How do I change my 88 13b 6-port to a 4-port 13b. I want to bridge port my motor but don't think you can bridge a 6-port?

you get a 4port motor and put it in.......
you will need an after market ECU.

this is one of the ports in a 4 port motor.

This is in a 6 port motor. See the difference?

You would have to change the entire plate to a plate that has less intake ports. Easiest thing would be to get a 4-port motor. And don't think about cutting out the divider that goes between the 2 ports on the 6-port plate. The motor will run like a bag of hammers.

But a set of TII plates and rebuild your current motor using them or buy a dead TII motor and rebuild it using N/A rotors.

Yes you can bridge port a 6-port motor. Judge Ito has done a few if not more by now. My engine builder and I are bridge porting my racecar engine this winter. Its a stock 6-port engine. We will be offering them next year after some dyno testing/tuning to see what they can do.

the local rotary gur here has shown me his new 6 port porting design that utilizes working ports but, the 2 end ports are connected on the inside. If that makes any sense....you would have to see the end plates
