So i got a little to used to the short shift in my s13 and missed a shift pretty dramaticly in my 7 ... i hit 5th rather hard and grinded the crap out of it .. (but didnt not hit hard enough to force it into 5th) ... but now no matter what every time i go into 5th gear it grinds ... still goes in fine but grinds on its way through , every other gear including R is still flawless... im thinkin i messed up the synchro ??

are these trannys really this week ? or was it just a complete fluke and it was just about ready to go n i finished it off ?? my second day owning the car i mess up my tranny from 1 "horrible" shift lol.

im thinkin just have the tranny rebuilt just so i know its sound? what do u think ? papers show motor was rebuilt 3k miles ago .. new clutch 3k ago ... but nothin bout tranny hmmm.

please let me know what yall think it would be very much so appreciated , im very new to these mazda's any advice would be great. Thanks
