5th 6th ports stuck

Well I am the proud owner of a '91 vert! I love it. My friend though who is much more mechanically inclined then I felt the 5th and 6th port were stuck, but felt this was not a reason to buy an otherwise very nice vert.

The question now is what to do to fix the problem? He felt we should first try amsoil power foam. From what I read on the forums some people seem to have luck with this so even if it doesn't fix this problem it may be a good idea anyway since the previous owner probably did not drive it like a rotary should be. He suggested also buying some sort of intake lubricant by BG. Anyone know if this is necessary after running amsoil power foam?

If that doesn't work we were going to take everything apart and see if we could just unstick things. Does all this sound like a good plan? Any suggestions are welcomed. Other then this car runs really sweet. I just can't imagine what it will be like to gain the extra 25hp I am missing now! I just am excited to finally have my first rotary!

Thanks.

I think you might find this helpful. I don't know about the liquids or cleaners you are talking about but... http://www.aaroncake.net/RX-7/6portfix.htm
