5th and 6th ports
ok so i wanna take my 5th and 6th port actuators and vac lines and all that out along with all of my emissions. i have already take my cat off and the line that was connected too it is now just zap straped to a pipe. so my question is can i take out my 5th and 6th port actuators and all the other necessary stuff that goes with them out without causing any running problems for the car?

Ummmmm... If the 5th/6th ports work don't take them out. If you remove them you will lose lots of torque and the gains will be minimal. Leave them be. The 5th/6th ports on a S5 aren't controlled by the back pressure from the cat so you can remove the line and cat without any problems.
If they are working do this, zip tie them open and try driving around. I'm almost positive that you will not like the results.

the only way this would be worthwhile would be to remove your throttlebody, dynamic chamber, UIM and LIM, and then take out the actual 6pi sleeves, along with the actuators, and the two arms that connect to the sleeves. This will offer minimal power gain up top, but you'll still lose the low end torque though, but its better than nothing.
Persoanlly, since your s5, if reccomend that the run a tube from your airpump, to the 6pi and VDI solenoids on the rack (brown and white if you still have the stickers on em), and then run the lines from the solenoids to the VDI and the 6pi acutators.
this process will allow you to remove the rats nest and other emissions, while retaining your pth port induction and variable dynamic intake system! thus leaving you with the most power.

well i took it apart today to see if it was working. one of the actuators is working but the arm that goes into the motor is so stiff it wouldn't move it. and the other actuator is not working. so should i just wire the arms open and block off the vac lines?

You could do that, but as mentioned above you will lose low-end torque. If you get those actuators and parts moving freely it will be much better. Use some penetrating lube or some 3 in 1 oil and work it in there and let it sit for a half hour or so. Hope you can get em working.

I really notice it on my s4 N/A with them wired open, which is why I'm working on the electronic air pump method. The car just feels anemic in 5th gear especially, at least compared to when they were stuck closed. Of course it's slow as ***** with them stuck closed but much more streetable. I do have lots of mods though, including a header and street port, so that already hurts my low end.

If anyone needs a set of S5 (or S4) actuators, I have working sets of each sitting in my garage. PM me if you're interested.

Yours must have not been working in the first place. There is a large difference down lown below 2500 rpm. After that you just start feeling your power gain a little bit and after 3500 is where you start to feel you power come back.
