Unhappy 5th and 6th port actuators

ok im pretty sure that my 5th and 6th port actuators arn't workin! I put some grease on the rods and took it for a spin and i didn't see any smears! Now i don't have any cats or an air pump, i have a new street ported motor with a header and straight pipe ehaust. I think it's because i don't have enough backpressure to open them. What should i do? With the amount of power i have now us ok but i want them workin tho! I think with having the air pump out i get a little bit of hortse pwr because of one less belt, i have the a/c out so im only running mmy pwr stearing, alternator and fans! PLEASE help me, what would you do? Thanks for your time guys it will help me out alot!

Hey, i 've got a similar exhaust but with a presilencer. I'm pretty sure you have an S4 Correct? I have a race pipe to straight pipes to mufflers. But that is enough back pressure to get em working. Put in a small glasspack or a presilencer and it should give u enough backpressure. Right now i have an exhaust leak causing them not to work, it too like 3 times as long to get through first! ha!

I would get the presilener or a muffler and put it in somewhere in your exhaust.....It will pen your 6 ports and be better on your ears!
