5psi max bov not even hooked

Ok i got the car about a month ago hooked up a mechanical boost gauge, water temp and oil well i thought the car ran great but now i realized that something must be wrong it only holds 5lbs of boost. well some vaccum help would be great there isnt even a line going to the bov, but the car runs good though just wont build more boost full 3in exhaust, fcd, custom intake, just kinda wondering where do i start with vaccum should i just hook up a compressor and run a boost leak test.

stock or aftermarket turbo?

if the wastegate has been ported large enough that may be all the boost it should be building unless you install a boost controller. it is rare but sometimes people actually mod **** the right way.

That happened to me once. All I did was change the UIM-LIM gasket and gained 5psi

atkins is pretty cheap for induvidual install gaskets, the dealer isn't as bad as most make it out to be either.
