Got the housings yesterday, damn near new for $750 total in Kansas city. Turned back around and dropped them off in Topeka. Got to see the inside of the old and new RR engines. Will post pics as soon as I can. Going with a mild Street Port . Now just gotta get a cheap auto counter weight for the lightweight flywheel I'm gonna drop in.

New addition! Light weight flywheel, thanks to my buddy and counter weight from rotarydave.

As soon as I get old engine parts back I'll post all of it. Old turbo stuff and prior rebuilt stuff.

Top of the exhaust port should have a chamfer to it (like the factory does). Doesn't look like your ports do.

I was thinking that also. And I believe it has generally been accepted that D shaped ports with the timing extended is not preferred for a boosted engine since it increases overlap and boost can blow out the exhaust. But everyone has their own way of doing things I guess.

Truth hurts.
He'll be back when his exhaust ports destroy the contact face of his apex seals and he loses all compression.
"1 month old rebuild leaking compression".

I won't even comment on the intake ports... I am surprised any rebuilder would send pictures like that to a customer.
