5 lug conversion
Yes I have the gay *** 4x114.3 mm lugs on my 87 gxl and I wana know if theres any way to convert them or is it better just to take a 5 lug axles and put them on. I wouldnt rather convert since I wana put on some brembo brakes and such but if a new axle is the only way to go I guess that would work. I searched on the internet for a while about this but the only thing I can find is how to convert a old 4 lug mustang into a 5 lug but even all those say that it is much easier to use the axle off a old bronco "ford " if anyones done this conversion or used the mustang conversion kit some help would be most appreciated

If its the latter, why would you do that? All you have to do is get the parts from a rx7 that was equipped with them and swap them on. Also, searching on the forums will lead much better results.

search five lug conversion..even the classified will have info of some sort ..trust me on this ..I have 4 lug too ..if you just want bigger tires for now..easy way out ..so to speak..there is a post on i think CANADIAN classifieds..the guy lists the cars that have 4 lug and are compatible if you flip his ad around to use it for your advantage..see 15" steelies for sale.....you will see what i mean..4 lug isn't the end of the world..i thought it was ..eventually i will get a five lug car ..that's my solution..why think outside the box..just get a new box
