The CP racing roll bars don't mount to a frame point, but rather just the floor behind the seats. It's a really cheesy setup, and if you're actually looking to get chassis strengh as well as roll protection, I'd say pass on it.

Personally, I'd say go with a custom roll bar. I know I just said the kirk one, but it's just the same as the CP bar, only better designed for cross bracing, but otherwise it'll still just punch through the floor in a roll over and won't add an ounce of structural rigidity. It sucks honestly. If you make a roll bar, mount it to the outer edges of the center cross frame rail goes (the real beefy strong part just under the seat belt motors on s5's). Looks like the route I'm going to take.

Don't buy from CP RACING!!!!!!!!!!!!

I personally ordered a 4 point roll cage from them on MAY 16TH. Guess what? It's almost 3 months later and I still have not received it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I emailed them asking if they had one in stock and how long it would take to ship. They replied back the next day stating they had one and it would take 3 weeks. After that email.......that was the last I heard from them. They wouldn't answer their phones or email me back. They just took my money and ran.........

If I were you, go some where local to get one built. That's what I did. I had a guy build me one for $150. He would probably could build you one too, plus shipping of course. Check out my Roll Cage. It looks way better than the one CP Racing makes.

Installed:

This is what the Autopower 4pt race rollabar looks like installed. It has the removable harness and cross bar options.

i have the jegs 8pt for mine, but i've only used 4 pt's so far. The metal is great and as long as you have welding skills and can cut a few angles it's a great system.

hey guys, i emailed CPracing, and asked them about avaiability of their 4 point cages for a FC, and about orders taking so long to process. They replied saying they have some in stock, and they are under new management now, so there will be no more delay. So i just ordered one. I will let you guys know how it turns out, but ive had good luck with them in the past

It fits pretty tight. I did have to flatten the floor board at mounting points to get it to sit properly. It weights about 50lbs with all of the bars installed.
