uh, dude, all you have figured in for fuel is the F con, there are such things as injectors, fuel pump, upgraded lines, fpr, etc.

You can not get an exhaust that will sound good and flow enough air for $250. How about other little things such as the intercooler piping, etc?

i wouldn not try to run a 60-1 on the stock computer, but that's just me.

1. I have 720cc injectors that were free
2. I have a walbro fuel pump, sorry didnt add that in, but it was about 130 or so
3. Exhaust not possible for less than 250 you say? RB 3" DP from ebay for 120, flanges from Racing beat- 50, labor and materials make up the rest for the custom work.

4. All the little stuff I get for free, such as use of a piping bender, 2.5-3 inch tubing, and I already have plenty of 2.5 silicon tubing(enough to run that from turbo to intercooler by itself)

Hey Fellas.
I just bought a series 5 t2. I am going to do a 60-1 on a stock ECU and see how she handles it. It will be one of the Stage 3's. I know in the 87 ECU's you see around 24 degrees advance at full boost. I hope that the 89 is about the same! I can pull the timing back around 6 or so degrees and hopefully it can take 14-15 psi on pump fuel and still hold an idle.

You will still need a manifold to bolt the 60-1 to and you will need an external wastegate. The F-con will not work with bigger injectors unless you have a S-AFC with it.

A Racing Beat downpipe will not work as a 60-1 does not sit close to the same place in the engine bay as the stock turbo and it takes an entirely different flange.

It would be nice to see it done with a stock computer but I would not attempt it as I have seen many try to make 400rwhp on a stock computer and not get even close without blowing something up.

Four 720cc/min injectors are only enough for a safe 320-330rwhp.

No mufflers? Cool...

If this would be a street driven car I'd stay away from standalone computers and stick with the piggyback route. The Apexi AFC ITC combo used to work fantastically together but I think Apexi discontinued the ITC. MSD has a couple of ignition boxes that retard timing by setting certain RPM points I think. I'd go with a full T4 size turbo, FMIC, 720 cc injectors, FD fuel pump, a relaible BOV and an upgraded radiator for peace of mind. A couple hours of dyno tuning with the piggybacks and your golden.

Maybe we need to define what a "hybrid" is?
Go dyno sheets?

You'd need >90% duty cycle to do that. That's why I said a safe (~80%) 320-330rwhp.
