4 piston front caliper rebuild kits, NLA?

I've been to several local parts stores, searched online on others and searched the 2nd gen forum. I have not been able to find rebuild kits for the 4-pot calipers. The parts stores I've checked show them as NLA.

Generally I do buy reman units, but I've already bead blasted and painted the cores that I have and they are good candidates for rebuilding. Does anyone have a definitive source for the rebuild kits. A link to a supplier that carries them or a definite answer that they are NLA will greatly appreciated.

If I have to, I'll buy new reman units and paint them, but for now I'd rather not throw away the time and work invested in the pair I have. Need to know asap.

I know I belong in the 1st gen section, but I'm installing ReSpeed's TII big brake upgrade kit on my widebody project. Link to the car is in the last line of my sig.

Thanks, Scott.

It's 32.40 for one rebuild kit for the 4 piston calipers at mazdatrix but the kit does two calipers , I rebuilded mine about a year ago and they came out great .

since they are a factory mazda part from mazdatrix theoretically you could go to the mazda dealer and buy them

Thank you gentlemen. For some reason I didn't think to look at MT's website. Now I need to find the banjo bolts that connect the ReSpeed ss brake lines to the calipers. The 1 pair of lines that I do have are 1/2 steel and 1/2 rubber hose.

Its a pita to rebuild the calipers. Just get rebuilt ones. Unless you want to do it your self.

Well, its not really a pita...just time consuming.

I've assembled one caliper with the better used rubbers from one of the 4 I've taken apart. They are really quite simple to rebuild. Much less work to rebuild them than it is to prep and paint a fresh set. Now I need to find the banjo bolts for the ss brake lines, lol. If anyone has a spare pair of banjos, please PM me.

That's most likely where they get 90% of their stuff.

That's nice, but it's no help without a source for the parts. That also sounds too cheap for a 4 piston rebuild kit.

I am a source of parts. And its not too cheap. When you buy 10's of thousands at a time, they get pretty inexpensive. We retail them for about $32.00 for the kit to rebuild both calipers. As far as banjo bolts go, can't help you.

And if you PM me nice, I will let you in on what I can get the whole caliper for.

I only try to help when people complain about not being able to find things, or about how much stuff costs. Hopefully soon, our website will be up for the public to buy. At that time I am setting up a special account for the RX-7 Club to buy. All stock stuff.
