I have the swap, minus the 4-piston calipers/brakes. Works, but I hope to get the brakes one of these days - I want to get the booster and master cylinder / proportioning valve when I do the swap. Just another option.
See if this search link works...I just typed "5 lug swap" under 2nd gen. archives.

Front Hubs,
Pop off the cap, undo the clip, take off the nut holder, unscrew the nut. Voila, the hub is off.
Rear hubs are held on by three bolts, and a nut at the end of the axle. It takes a bit of prying to get off.
You do not need a TII Master Cylinder, I don't have one on my swap. You will need the hardlines on the 4 pots. Your front brake line should split into two pieces if you can manage to do it, otherwise you will need to get the front brake line as well.
If you go to vented rear disks you will need TII calipers or almost dead brake pads. I recommend the TII calipers...for obvious reasons.
If you take off the rear calipers be careful, usually the bolts are stuck in there pretty good. (Steel bolt on Aluminum bracket)

I have done the 4-5 lug swap without Replacing the Proportional Valve and the Master..it Works Just FINE..and you are going to "find out" there is more than one master cylinder to put on your car..I have Here THREE different ones..MY SUGGESTION,is to just change the BOOSTER,as it is Smaller on the four lug setup(five lug booster is bigger)..if you go to TII Booster, you are going to need a Vaccum Hose, that has a check valve in it...Trust me on this,,I have the Set-ups of pretty well All the FC's Brakes,In my shed..

You need:
The hubs, rotors, calipers, new pads, the front hardlines on the calipers and for ideal performance, the brake booster.
The master cylinder really doesn't apply, goto Mazdatrix and take a look at the cylinders and realize how there is only 3-4 actual cylinders, and that has mostly to do with ABS or AAS.

I am using the 4 lug brake booster and I don't have any problems.

I used that website a lot to figure out my swap. I wish his was a tad more detailed...but I am too lazy to e-mail him a good write up.
I thought that there was a 5 lug setup with solid rear disks, these used the single pot rear brakes. I am not 100% sure about this though.

Yeah, I remembered that after I posted. The master cylinder is the same, though the fluid container may be bigger on TII models. I bet mazdatrix only sells the bigger container.

But you can use the smaller booster, to make the swap 100% complete, it would be involve a brake booster, which are for sale for like $130 with a core from most parts stores.

5 bolt 5-bolt swap fewest parts
I got some info from my buddy who got me the parts for my 5-bolt swap. He got the front and rear hubs and front caliper brackets (for one-piston calipers) from the 89-91 Base or Mid-grade models with the 5-bolt wheels and single-piston calipers.
I don't have the better brakes (4-piston front and vented disk rears from the GXL's or TurboII's), but if you just want to go with 5-bolt (for looks or other wheels), this is all you need. Forgot to mention...you need disks all around - I got new ones. In my case, I really just wanted to be able to put on 2nd. gen. 5-bolt wheels for now and get the brakes in the future when budget and timing permits. Just another option for us...
