400 bucks, give or take a hundred.

what would be easiest, is to pull the ENTIRE rear assembly, suspension, diff, axles, the whole 9 yards. and swap it to your car. its just several bolts.

the front, youll need the spindles, hubs, discs, and calipers. GXL, GTU, GTUs, convertible, and T2 suspensions have the 5 lugs. have fun.

you really only need the hubs and brakes theres an ebay auction going on right now that shows exactly that minus the susupension. Thats what E4 said atleast (seller).

ok, I want to do the same. Except that I have an 86 base and an 87 sport. I can't drive to sport due to the fact that it was considered junked but it is in really good condition. Now, do I really just need the hubs and brakes or do I need everything?

The last junkyard I went to said $35 a corner if they took them off. Of course he said $75 for the Al NA hood or $250 for everything too. After looking at him like he was nuts I bought the hood and left. (check the math for the slower folks)

Of course with junkyard hubs you probably need rotors and pads (I'm gonna do the bearings while it is apart also).
The sway bars from the 86 or 87 GTU and GTUs are a little fatter than your base ones. Might as well get them while your at it. Sheez, if you find one of those you might as well take the whole rear end for the 4.33:1 ratio and LSD.

lost cause- I'd swap the VIN plates if it's really in that good of shape. Of course there is that little legal issue, but who's to know. The VIN plate under the windshield is attached to a plastic piece of the dashboard that is not hard to remove. Careful though, mine shattered, not that I wanted to keep a dash in it anyway.

banzaitoyota - If your talking the whole rear end assy. I'm interested.
