4.3 rear ends on JDMs

OK i know that the USDM GTUs are the ONLY model of FC3s that have the 4.3 rear end i know that. (I have a GTUs) But i was wondering do the JDM gtx turbo model have a 4.3 rear end. I have a chance to get a hold of a half cut with FULL drive train.

SO do JDM turbo 13bt motors have 4.3 rear ends?

Only the rare infini models did. Odds are you aren't getting one of those, so I believe it'd have the standard 4.1.

A GTUs drivetrain is identical to any other nonturbo (which there were none of in japan, btw) except for 5th gear ratio in the trans, and the rearend gear ratio. Size adn compatibility of all the parts is the same. IT's nothing special, really. Slightly more fun than the average coupe, but not special.

from an ex-GTUs owner.

But to answer your question, everything on a nonturbo from the flywheel back is smaller and weaker than a turbo model. So no, it is not as strong.

No, it'll break before a TII rear diff. will. If you've got money to burn you can always get the TII 4.3 ring and pinion set from Mazdatrix.
