4,000 for this fc?

1987 mazda rx7 turbo2

56,000 original miles
rotory TURBO
5sped
rwd
clutch type lsd
clean title
straight frame
no accidents
Black exterior
grey interior
very clean
brand new tires 225/50/16

the bad:
torn diff bushing ( will include new oem bushings with sale )
door handle is loose, nuts fell off (will include brand new lock with key made)
door has minor ding on driver side
passenger rear quarter panel has minor ding

NEW PARTS (not installed):
-brand new clutch master cylinder
-Brand new clutch slave cylinder
-Brand new diff bushings
-Brand new window crank
-Brand new lock with key
-Brand new belts
-Brand new front seal for diff

Car has been taken very well care of. Has fresh oil and coolant. Starts every time and idles like a champ. Drives perfect aside from the diff bushings being torn. very fast, and handles great! I love this car and hate to let it go, but im trying to get a truck and i already have a project car to focus on.

56,000 original miles

BLUE BOOK VALUE:
excellent 5,100
good 4,700
fair 4,100
Id say this car is in "good" condition, but i am only asking 4,300 OBO
4,000

i really want an fc so if anyone could help me out. also could anyone estimate my insurance? im 18 license for over a year. going to college. no accidents or any bad marks. clean record. this car may also be licensed under my dad. hes about 46 just a couple parking violations. i think his record may even be clean.has had his license for a really really really long timeover 20 years i believe.

thanks

i would say it's definitely worth it i paid 3500 for my 87 T2 with about that much on the engine and well over 200,000 on the body, although it's pretty much flawless. and mine's a little upgraded, but if it's all original i would say ****** that **** up in a bear trap. i think that's a good deal just because they're getting hard to find, atleast in my area. and black too.....****.....
do it
peace

p.s. i just turned 20 and my insurance is under my step-dad's plan but the car is still in my name. since it's in his plan i have the multi-car discount, a home-owners discount, since i have above a 3.0 in college (or high school in your case for now) i got a good student discount, it was 56 dollars a month before i turned 20 now it's 45 dollars a month.

Insurance companies do not see good driving as a hereditary trait. You may be looking at as high as 100 a month depends on where you live among many other things.

50k on a motor from 87 sounds a bit nasty to me. That means thast it may have been sitting for a while.

Heopfully it lasts but honestly Any TII you buy now you should accept the fact that a new engine may be in the some what near future.

It's a Turbo rotary with 10+ years on it. So either it's got too much mileage or too little and not run enough by now.

That does sound lieka good deal though.

the engine is probably fine but umm the electronics probably suck but then again rx7's were never great on the electrical side....

oh on the insurance note well considering its a sports car it will be up there... and oh yeah if thats vallejo california guess what there is a turbo premium in cali

if your wondering about insurance this is not the car to buy it will suck you dry trust me..... i have been sucked dry lol
