Do any of you guys know where to get a 3x60mm guage pod that does not mount in the window pillar? I saw on a third gen mounted above on the dash and it looked like it came from the factory like that. Looked like it was made for speakers. Very sweet.

 

There is a guy that makes those for the third gen guys..... its not factory... it replaces the center bose speaker...

The only thing i've found similar to our cars mounts on top of the center dash and makes the dash look like a retarded juke box...

I'm in the process of fiberglassing a three pod unit to replace the idiot light cluster in out cars, but i't will be a one off, don't have resources to get it molded to make plastic parts out of it..

yeah its similar to this one but you don't replace anything. You just flat mount it and angle it towards you. Yeah it might replace some speakers on the third gen. You have a pic of one?
