3rd gen wheels on 2nd gen?

What size spacers are needed for 3rd gen wheels? Can i run them on the back w/o/ spacers? What size wheel studs do you recommend?

Here's my take on it -

I don't recommend running 3rd gen rims on a 2nd gen. The only (right) way to fit them in the front is with H&R spacers, which are costly - about $200. And, H&R doesn't make the right size you need - the size that works sticks the wheels way out, causing problems with the wheels catching the fender lip. Not to mention the car looks weird with the front wheels sticking out and the rears inset - looks like a drag Honda or something.

Save your money and buy rims that fit.

I actually have spacers machined in Japan that can be used to fit 3rd gen rims on a 2nd gen. Sizes are 20mm to 40mm in 5mm increments.

I can get these for around $100 a pair including the hub centric spacer for the 3rd gen rim. ultra wide spacers may cost more, but I'll have to check

PM me for details.

where else can you get a 16x8 wheel that only weighs 13lbs? I have wheels that fit but they are 18". I need performance not pretty look. I got those 18" wheels off of another turbo II I bought. They look nice but so much wheel hop. I was told I could go to seco and get a set of spacers that fit for $40. Let me know if you have any input. I hate those 18's on the strip.

So what size spacers does the 2nd gen need for front and rear exactly? I wanna get 3rd gen wheels and powder coat them gunmetal. I think that would look good on a silver car.

at least 25mm or 1 inch

I can get them at roughly 100 a pair and they come with the correct hub ring for the 3rd gen rim.

drop me a PM if you're interested

just dont take your car drag racing with slicks on your your cool spacer might end up looking like this...

on the way back home the studs snapped and I lost a rear wheel. lucky my car was lowered down some and the wheel stayed in the wheel wheel. and let me slow down and pull off the road.
