This really pisses me off. How hard is it to spell out "easy"?

Well since nobody else will comment on this, I will. I'm sure it's already mentioned somewhere in the forums but I will give you a quick answer. You need an s5 lim to mate up with the fd uim in addition to needing an adaptor plate to mate the two together. Port matching or bolting them together?? I really don't know the details other than what I have seen and herd.

no it's not easy, theyre 2 different engines with 2 different bolt patterns and 2 different port variances. it can be done with effort but it is not "easy".

you also have to worry about the throttle cable and the TPS.

where are all these threads coming from lately anyways?

ive been trying to find someone that makes an adapter plate but i've searched and PM'd with no luck. However, ive also heard that with a s5 LIM and a FD UIM if you portmatch the runners and notch teh bolt holes it will fit.

I dont know of any power gains from doing this. Is it worth it? Well, thats your call, but I'm doing it to take advantage of the s6 tps. And it just looks cool.

I don't have a link no... I should rephrase myself... "Feed used to make an adapter"...

I don't think they make them anymore actually... I could be wrong...

Be prepared to spend about $350-400 bones for the feed one.The other thing you will need to do if no one mentioned it before is rework the oil filler neck on top all the other things.
You could port match the S5 LIM to the FD UIM but the FD casting gets very very thin on the primary ports when doing this and also change in diameter (larger) in that area.
I'm speculating as I haven't completed mine yet ,but I don't think they are that hard to make.IIRC someone else on the forum made a few with hand tools and a drill press and actually used a belt sander to make the adaptor surface flat.It looked very good ,pretty much like the feed one.
