I gotta couple ideas on this, seeing I screwed around with my engine enough!.BUT I am still NO guru!
FD TPS: you have to get the FD TB,and that would mean using an FD upper and then having to get a greddy elbow and run to a FMIC(front mount intercooler).
The TPS would require a pigtail connector that you could wire your ECU to,and run the Widerange side of the TPS.(there is also info in the "FD upper on an FC" thread in the Sec Gen Specific section..I started that thread).
Now,without doing all that you can also go with an S5 TII TPS and wire the TPS that uses the cam on the Throttle body,..3 wires to tap into off the TPS.

Well,I am just wiring a Haltech and it was wired for an S4 TPS..with the S4 Connector.
I was told that an S5 Tps would be better as it is more readable,so rather than Cut the Brand NEW harness,I made a Patch connector that takes the Old S4 TPS Connector and wired it into a S5 Engine harness TPS connector.then Plopped on a S5 Throttle body/w S5 Tps!..DONE.
So,where there is a Will,there is a dead guy,..I mean a Way!

rotary-works TB direct fit or like mx69 said use a s5 tps. just swap TBs and be good to go. play with the linkage to keep your omp if you're not running premix.

If I had a choice (and the means) to run either an S5 or FD TPS, I'd run an FD TPS every time. They are far less sensitive to failure, and as far as I know, loads cheaper to replace.
