Question 3rd Gen Throttle Body on FC

Had a thought. I've been reading around several posts gathering my info but some questions hav'nt quite been answered.

I'm thinking about putting a Series 6 Throttle body onto my existing manifold so that I can have the larger 50mm secondary ports (compared to the 45mm ports on my FC3s S5). I also think the S6 throttle bodies look a lot cleaner in comparison, EG tps on the throttle axel, etc. I also have planned to put one of those very tidy greedy inlet adapters that would hang of the S6 throttle body.

1) first I'd like to know if the S6 throttle body is a strait bolt onto the S5 plenumb/runners. BTW, I do realise that I am going to need to splice into the loom to accomodate the new TPS.

2) is there any other hidden agenda's that i might encounter while doing this conversion.

3) Does anyone know where I can get the Greedy Throttle Body Adapter?

thanks

does'nt this guy look cool!

1) FD TB will not bolt to S4 or S5 manifold

2) if we run FD TB, we usually have FD UIM as well (somehow modified to fit on S5 LIM)

3) FD Greddy elbow is offered by most of online stores, if u want FC one, let me know ;o)

Thanks HIGGI I might just end up sticking width my existing throttle body for the time being. I am quite keen on getting an elbow for the S5 throttle body. Do you know where I can get one? Not too concerned on brands, more concerned on quality and functionality.

I have seen one on ebay, but its not an elbow. its more of an adapter that has a 2.5" round flange.

Fricken waste of time...
Why do people think the TB is a restriction?
There are TONS of people who have made over 500hp with the stock intake system + TB.
Are you going for over 600hp?

reasosns why...

My main 2 reasons:
because it visually looks better with the tps on the end of the throttle and I want to use a greedy intake adapter.

In the next year I should be seeing 550-600 hp with the new turb setup
