3mm versus 2mm Seals

Looking for someone to explain the advantages/disadvantages of 2 and 3 mm apex seals in a turbo motor. Running alot of upgrades including turbo , injectors , fmic, and a wolf 3d.......any help on the matter would be great.

a short and sweet explanation- 2mm are better for high boost cars while 3mm are more of a saftey upgrade and can handle detonation better. Although it doesnt take detonation to rotary to make it pop in the first place

like rotor said the 3mm seals will resist detonation better but will still brake good for ppl that are trying to tune thier cars themselves and get a little lean accidentaly. BUT you need to send out your rotors to have them milled so you can fit in teh 3mm seals
