hi

i got my rotors sloted to use 3mm apex seals

the apex seal don't slide up and down in the grove

what is the best tool to use to file down the grove little bigger

and sould i you have the apex seal grove just so the apex seal can drop in

or should it be set to the standerd clearnce in the factory service manual with a fluter gadge

use the factory spec. i think its .002 inch.
I'd be very careful if you try to file it yourself.
have you talked to the person who machined it?
