Exclamation 3900cap

ok, i thought this was a rev limiter thing but i've been told otherwise. I have an '86 n/a that doesn't want to run above around 3900 rpm when i'm in gear. If i'm sitting in neutral i can rev high as i want but not when i'm in a gear, going. I had a few people tell me that it sounds like my secondary injectors aren't kicking in but if that were the case wouldn't i not be able to reach higher rpm's in neutral aswell? Any ideas on the cause of this problem would be appreitated. thx -z00m

secondaries don't come on when revving in neutral, only under load. Check that and your aux ports

Probably haven't been used in forever and are dirty and stuck closed/etc, that or it's a grounding issue with the ECU/dirty engine grounds.
