3800 hesitation + rough idle questions
Hey guys,
I just put in new Injectors because the old ones were cracked and leaking. After I put everything back, my idle was surging from 500 to 1000 rpms and it eventually died. Any ideas as to what it could be?
I tried the BAC but it didn't seem to do anything
I couldn't find my TPS, anyone know where it is (87 Turbo II)?
Wheh I took it on the road it drove fine under 3800 RPM but when I stomped on the accelerator it sputtered and hesitated after 3800 RPM's.
But, accelerating slowly lets me go faster without any hesitation.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Asghar

well the TPS is a little black sensor that gets pushed in when u hit the gas it is under the intercooler, near the front of the engine on the driver side, has wires and a clip going to it.
i used my SAFC to adjust the TPS but there are several instructions on how to do it i'm not sure, but the problem with my TPS was at idle is was reading 43% throttle, so i was getting that much fuel at idle and eventually it would choke it.
at 3800 RPM is the switch off from the primary to the secondary injectors, there is a hesitation but i'm not sure if this answers what ur asking.
