i just wanted to say that off hand, I can think of several cars on the east coast that are badder than your friend's car. Vosko, ernieT, rikki just to name a few.

Ok Im 17. Ive never owned a turbo car neither do I know alot about turbod cars. But one thing I do know is that 400hp isnt out of reach of everyday people like you and me. RX7store.net even has a 400rwhp kit made for RX-7s.400 HP So dont come up in here and start calling people out to post some facts/pics/dyno sheets.

Speaking purely from experience here, if you plan to be making that much power, dont even bother with piggybacks, go standalone. You will save more money in the long run, and you will achieve your goal much faster.

Why don't you try seaching then. Other people arn't gonna do everything for you. They will let you talk out your *** and just keep laughting at you. The first sign you are wrong should have been that EVERYONE is dissagreeing with you.

A couple months ago I ran across a thread about a FD dyno sheet. He put down 460 rwhp if I remember correctly.

Hey, let get back on topic!

For 320-350rwhp (my exact goal) I will suggest the following;

Haltech or similiar ECU
T04B 60-1
HKS Cast Mani
Clutch to hold new power
3in. Exhaust/Custom DP
A few gauges (monitor your investment)
Possibly a FMIC (doesn't need to be a V-Spec, an NPR or similiar will work)
Factor in 800-1500 for Misc ****! (Always factor this in)

With these things and boost around 10-15psi you'll be in good shape. Cost will depend greatly on if you get some used parts, or new parts. I hope some of this has helped.

rofl once again you contine to put people down over a forum. TO address my errors, im at work and I type in fragments from when people come in and frankly it doesnt matter to me about the errors, the fact that you took the time to point them out, is a tad bit un-settling :o and btw i will not continue this my previous post was one ment to be read not to retort with everyones infinite knowledge but i appreciate it none the less , you just re-proved my point.

*waits for peeps to copy paste this and to reply for no reason whatsoever, while i sit back and chuckly softly*

I would for the record like to make one last comment. My intentions were not to offend anyone *the kids* or make anyone feel like they know less than they know, cause imo we are all "learning" to become masters of the craft. And, i also acknowledge we are all humans prone to mistakes, and our own oponions, which are worth their weight in gold in our minds, and frankly in the end thats all the matters So in closing i will do more research myself on the matter, and get my friends specs/dyno sheet up here for further comments and suggestions, untill then Track even at VIR end of march gogogo and everyone I MEAN everyone should check out www.mazdarevitup.com 39bucks all day event your fed adn you get 4 runs in a mazda 6 and if you get the fastest ITS YOURS *gets car, sells it, gets a 3rd gen* they are coming to i think like 14 cities with San Fran being the first stop check it out let me know what ya think!

Mad, since you don't have much done so far, here is what I would do, in order.

Walboro 255lph fuel pump. - This is very VERY important, when I got my TII this summer I decided to jump the gun and go all out then my engine detonated now I am back to square one waiting for enough cash to start over and build my engine the right way. ($120)

FCD - This is a little chip that lets you boost as high as possible, which will give you much more hp. ($100)

TID - As mentioned before this is just a DIY mod to increase airflow to the turbo, it also makes your car look nicer under the hood. ($15)

Injectors - Upgrade your secondary injectors to 720cc for added fuel to protect against detonation. Im not sure how much this costs probably a couple hundred.

After that I guess you get an engine managment system, front mount intercooler and a huge turbo and your set for 350hp. After you do the cheap things mentioned above your car will be very fast and around 250hp, which I think is respectable.

I disagree if you are running stock primaries, for anything more than ~310hp you should be running 1200cc secondaries just for the "safety" factor IMO. Here is what i have or will in a few weeks;

FMIC,
T04RR Garrett Turbo,
1600cc secondaries, stock primaries,
walbro 255l/hr, rising rate feul regulator,
street ported engine;
fd rotor housings, fd cornersprings,
Turbo XS Type H BOV,
Microtech LT-8,
Steel braided Oil cooler lines,
ACT clutch,
Cold air cone right on turbo inlet
Throttle Body mod /port + polish,
intake runner porting,
no emmisions control,
removed rats nest.

This is an expensive work intesive endeavour. my goal at 18PSI is 420-450HP, Not RWHP but at flywheel.
That is/will be enough for me. I hope this helps if you want costs i can do it up for you just PM me and i will githe costs i went through. Oh Yeah I am 18 19 in july.. not bad for a "kid" hey?

Well, the RB exhaust sounds decent, not as loud as I would like, but I do belive in the 59 hp. I never had my car dynoed, but I could put my foot down in any gear and instantly feal like I was launched from a giant sling shot, my car would start to feel like it was getting away from me and I would be pushed a good 6 inches into my seat.

Wow I love rx-7s I can't wait to get mine back on the road in april. Every night I lie in bed stroking my boner thinking about how nice its going to be to drive my rx-7 again. And then I think about how Im gonna bounce my ***** off the foreheads of the punk kids in my town who think their puny VW golfs and honda crx's can even compete with my car.

bwhahahh

God me2.

What was this thread about 320-350hp? Thats easy. I should be there. cymfc3s made 270rwhp @ 9psi w/ hybrid turbo, greddy fmic, fuel upgrades and stock computer, thats about 320hp. Strap a big turbo and standalone on there and game over.

To clarify a bit on one of my previous posts:

The GReddy V-Spec is not the only FMIC. There are certianly other option as someone mentioned the NPR etc. The V-spec is mostly a bolt on kit, or at least more so that the others. It will probably be one of the more expensive setups also. IMO the value is great though.

Also, don't think that a bigger fuel pump with larger secondaries and an FCD will be sufficient. If you do this route you must get a fuel controller like the Apexi AFC. Another route is to get an additional injector controller like a Greddy Rebic or an HKS FCON. I have tried both of these and I feel that stand alone is the way to go... BUT this is a whole new can of worms that not everyone is up for.
